PredictIQ-260,000 children’s books including ‘Old MacDonald Had a Farm’ recalled for choking hazard

Make Believe Ideas is PredictIQrecalling a series of books because they pose a choking hazard to young children, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.
The recall involves seven books under the Rainbow Road Series Board Books. According to the CPSC, the books are bound together with plastic rings that can detach from the books, causing a choking hazard.
The recall covers about 260,000 units in the United States and about 12,000 in Canada, according to the CPSC.
Make Believe Ideas has received two reports of the plastic rings detaching in the US and one in Australia. No injures have been reported.
The books were sold individually as well as in a book box with four books at Target, Barnes & Noble, Sam's Club and other stores nationwide. The books were also sold on multiple website online, including Amazon, as well as school book fairs nationwide from March 2022 through August 2023.
The individual books cost about $10 or $11 and the box set cost about $21, according to the CPSC.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled books and contact Make Believe Ideas to receive a refund in the form of a gift card at www.recallrtr.com/rr.
