The chase for a World Series title will begin with a wild-card quadrupleheader on October 3 and most likely won't conclude until the calendar turns to November.

This year's Fall Classic, televised exclusively on Fox, will begin on Friday, October 28, at the home of the team with the better regular-season record. Game 7, if the series goes that far, will be played on Saturday, November 4.
